Our principle
Fan data is anonymized and aggregated. We never collect personal identification. Participation requires explicit consent. We build trust by being honest about what we collect and why.
What we collect
When fans attend an event where Zeva is active, their phone participates in an anonymous network. We collect:
- Aggregated crowd movement patterns (how the crowd flows as a whole)
- Anonymized participation signals (no personal identification)
- Time-based patterns of crowd density by section
We do not collect names, phone numbers, email addresses, or any personal identifier from fans during event participation.
Consent
Participation requires explicit consent. Fans are informed of Zeva's presence at the venue and given a clear choice to opt out. No data is collected without consent.
How we use data
We use aggregated, anonymized data to:
- Show venue operators how the crowd moved during an event
- Help venues understand fan return patterns
- Improve the Zeva product for future events
Data storage and security
All data moves over SSL and is stored securely. Aggregated data is stored on protected servers. We do not sell fan data to any third party.
EU visitors (GDPR)
For visitors from the European Union, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because we do not collect personal data from fan participation, GDPR data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure) are not triggered by event attendance. For pilot and contact form submissions, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Contact us at hello@zeva.io to exercise these rights.
Cookies
We use a privacy-preserving cookie consent banner. We only load analytics cookies after you accept. No advertising cookies. No third-party tracking cookies. Change your choice at any time.
